Scamp is a 1972 replica of a Baybird, built by Chester Crosby of Wianno Senior fame. The Baybird class was designed to sail in Pleasant Bay, on Cape Cod, pictured at left, and was used by the sailing camps which proliferated here in the early part of this century. She is 18 feet long, gaff rigged, mahogany on oak.
